and if you care
about geeky things (I do) you may wish to know that thi time it
has the jolly quick 64-bit Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Harpertown” 5400
series processor, which is a powerful 45-nanometer Intel Core microarchitecture
processor... and thus dear old Rubble now runs flippin' quick. And its
enhanced SSE4 SIMD engine handles 128-bit vector computations in
a single cycle.. Plus it has 2 x 1TB serial ATA
(SATA) hard drives and 3rd almost as big.. so plenty of room for
stuff then, but very energy efficient
this time too.
..but
if you don't care about all that, it's enough to know that just
like the last one, it is still very beautiful inside. Even the
chips are pretty...
